Last updated April 13, 2026. This page describes our current practices; have it reviewed by qualified counsel for your jurisdiction if you rely on it beyond general transparency.

Who we are. The Agent Object Model™ initiative operates multiple websites, including agentobjectmodel.com (this site), aom.tools (developer tools), and agentobjectmodel.org (the canonical specification and reference materials). This page describes what information is involved when you visit our sites, use contact or newsletter forms, or interact with pages we serve.

What we collect. Contact form: your name, email address, and message content. Newsletter signup: your email address. Hidden anti-spam fields must stay empty; if filled by bots we discard them and do not use them as personal data. When you browse the site, our hosting provider processes standard technical data needed to deliver pages and keep the service secure (such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps).

How we use information. We use form submissions to reply to you or to send occasional updates you asked for. We use hosting logs and analytics to operate the site, measure aggregate traffic, fix errors, and improve performance. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers. We use Vercel to host this site and to provide Vercel Web Analytics. We use Resend to send transactional email (for example relaying contact form messages and newsletter notifications to our team). These providers process data on our behalf and under our instructions, subject to their own terms and privacy notices.

Different sites, different hosting. agentobjectmodel.com and aom.tools are hosted on Vercel. agentobjectmodel.org is served via GitHub Pages. Each host processes standard technical data (such as IP address and request metadata) to deliver content securely; details vary by provider and configuration.

Analytics in more detail. Vercel Web Analytics is designed for privacy-friendly, aggregate measurement (for example page views and top paths). It is not an advertising network and does not use third-party advertising cookies on visitors for that feature. See Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy documentation for the current technical approach.

Theme and your browser. If you choose light or dark mode, your preference may be stored in your browser’s local storage (via next-themes) so it persists when you return. That storage stays on your device; we do not use it to identify you across unrelated websites.

Cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting providers (Vercel and GitHub Pages) may set technical cookies strictly necessary to deliver pages securely and maintain session integrity. We do not control those cookies directly — see each provider's privacy documentation for details.

Retention. We keep contact and newsletter-related information only as long as needed to respond, operate mailing lists or notifications you requested, and meet legal obligations. Server logs are kept for a limited period typical for security and operations, then deleted or aggregated as appropriate.

Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to processing. To exercise those rights where they apply, contact us at hello@agentobjectmodel.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

International transfers. Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those jurisdictions may have different data-protection rules than your own.

Changes. We may update this page when our practices or the site change. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect substantive edits.
